Jairus Comes to Jesus

Jairus, a synagogue ruler, urgently reaches toward Jesus in a crowded village street, pleading for help as onlookers gather around them. Jesus stands calm and attentive, his raised hand suggesting authority, compassion, and readiness to respond. The scene portrays the beginning of the Gospel account in which Jairus begs Christ to come to his house because his young daughter is near death.
