Achan's Greed

The scene portrays the sin after the fall of Jericho, when Achan took what had been devoted to the Lord and hid it among his possessions.

The artwork centers on the biblical warning in Joshua 7: private disobedience brings public consequence. Achan’s secret greed is shown not as a distant moral failure, but as a hidden act within the ordinary space of family and camp.
